Although COVID-19 presented many challenges to the start of the fall semester, the
University of Louisiana Monroe is proud to announce an increase in enrollment. With
a total enrollment of 8,676 for fall 2020, 换妻社区 increased its fall enrollment by 187
students over fall 2019.听 听
听
鈥淥ur increase in enrollment is the result of many students and families recognizing
换妻社区 as one of the best in the world at what we do. The 换妻社区 family of faculty and staff
diligently work to be second to none as we continue to support our students鈥� successes
through a transformational process,鈥� said 换妻社区 President Dr. Ronald Berry.

换妻社区 had an increase in the first-time freshman class and undergraduate transfer students.听
听
The freshman class is an extremely academically accomplished class. Ninety percent
of incoming freshmen had a high school GPA of 3.0 or above. Their average high school
GPA is 3.54 with an average ACT score of 22.听
听
鈥淚鈥檓 really proud of our 换妻社区 recruitment and admissions team for coming together for
our students.听 The increase in enrollment is a testament to their dedication and ability
to adapt in challenging times,鈥� stated Sami Owens, Executive Director of Recruitment
and Admissions.听

换妻社区 saw a significant increase in graduate student enrollment with 1,478 students
enrolled for the fall 2020 semester, the largest graduate enrollment the institution
has seen in 36 years.听

鈥淕raduate enrollment at 换妻社区 is at a 36-year high. I am incredibly proud of the relentless
and dedicated work of the admissions team, graduate marketing, program coordinators
and student support, and outreach from across campus,鈥� said Sushma Krishnamurthy,
Ph.D., Dean of the Graduate School.听
